Highlights:
Six new countries/territories/areas (African Region, European Region [1], Region of the Americas, South East Asia Region, and Western Pacific Region ) have reported cases of COVID-19.
The Director-General said yesterday that Europe has now become the epicenter of the pandemic, with more reported cases and deaths than the rest of the world combined, apart from China.

Brazil confirmed seven more cases, bringing the total number to 178.
Brunei reported three new cases, bringing the total to 40.
Bulgaria confirmed six new cases bringing the total number to 37. One more death was also confirmed, bringing the total number to 2.
The Central African Republic confirmed its first case.
China reported 20 new cases, up from 11 cases a day earlier. 16 of the cases were overseas travelers. In response, the Beijing authorities announced that everyone arriving from overseas would be quarantined for 14 days.
Colombia reported additional eight more cases, taking the total to 24.
