COVID-19 Demographic Trends

COVID-19 is affecting Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and other people of color the most. The U.S. has lost more than 72,516 Black lives to COVID-19 to date. Black people account for 15% of COVID-19 deaths where race is known. Nationwide, Black people have died at 1.4 times the rate of white people. The virus has sickened more than 37,138,759 people in the United States. More than 618,478 people have died so far in the U.S.
