COVID-19 Vaccine Progress by ZIP Code and F.D.A. Delay for 2 Mos



61.9% of the world population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine. 10.42 billion doses have been administered globally, and 30.92 million are now administered each day. Only 10.6% of people in low-income countries have received at least one dose.


In the U.S., The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported on Monday that about 252,144,326 million people have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine (75.9%), and 91,758,822 people as of February 14, 2022, 6:00 am ET have received a booster dose.


On Friday (Feb 11, '22), Pfizer/BioNTech, (NYSE: PFE) announced the manufacturer will delay their request for authorization for the COVID-19 vaccine for infants and children — 6 months through 4 years – for at least two months after The United States Food and Drug Administration (F.D.A.) stated the pharmaceutical giant needs more data.
