The race to develop a COVID-19 vaccine has dramatically progressed over the last several months, as the vicious virus has sickened more than 67.23 million people worldwide. More than 1.54 people have died so far worldwide, as of December 6, 2020. Dozens of vaccine candidates are being tested in clinical trials to evaluate their safety and efficacy.
